The Richway Biomat
For over 25 years, the Richway Biomat has helped millions of customers find pain relief and relaxation by using far infrared ray technology that was discovered by NASA in the 1960's. Richway was the first company to put that technology into a mat form, making the original Richway Biomat one of a kind. The Biomat is not a heating pad, which provide "contact heat", but instead warms the body from the inside using far infrared light. This provides tangible warming feeling that is felt throughout the entire body, relaxing it and soothing the mind. The Biomat also produces negative ions that charge the air around it so that the air you are breathing while using it is just like the oxygen you would breathe in the mountains or by the sea, rejuvenating you while you relax.
The Biomat 7000mx is the fifth generation of the most effective far infrared heat therapy mat on the market. Each Biomat has natural, high-quality amethyst throughout the entire top layer. Amethyst is the best conductor and emitter of far infrared rays and amplifies the far infrared heat that you receive while laying on the Biomat by 200 times, which project it up to six inches into the body. While this is happening, negative ions are filling the air around you, helping with focus, relaxation and better air to breathe.
The Richway Biomat is approved by the United States FDA as a Class II Medical Device and it's 510K indications are:
• Minor muscle pain
• Joint pain associated with arthritis
• Minor sprains
• Muscle spasms
• Minor joint pain and stiffness
• Improved circulation where applied
• Minor strains
• Minor muscular back pain
You may also find that by relaxing your muscles with the Biomat, that sleep comes easier and that your stress and fatigue may be relieved and/or alleviated. You may also find that with increased circulation (where applied) comes a supported immune system and reduced inflammation.

HEATING PAD VS THE BIOMAT
Pictures don't lie. These are actual infrared photos of the results of using a heating pad (left) vs a Biomat (right). The heating pad was used for ten minutes and, as you can see, there is very little penetration. Conventional heating pads provide a "contact" heat, much like laying on the cement on a hot summer day. Does it feel good? Yes. Is it doing anything for your health? Not much. The warmth eventually does penetrate a bit and help with pain, but not like the Biomat, which warms the user from the inside. Infrared heat is not contact heat in that the first thing a Biomat does is penetrate six to eight inches into the body, providing better pain relief faster. See a complete comparision between heating pads and the Biomat on our BIOMAT VS HEATING PAD page.
NORMAL CIRCULATION VS THE BIOMAT
Biomats have been proven by the FDA to improve local circulation where applied. The picture on the left shows a person with poor circulation. The picture on theright is the same person after 14 days of using a Biomat. The infrared heat from a Biomat warms the skin and body tissues and jump starts circulation, which can improve the immune system. Remember, your circulatory system is the health highway of your body. When the "traffic" is flowing, everything performs properly but when it's blocked or slowed, primary organs and tissues suffer. Learn more about how the Biomat helps by increasing circulation and all of the health benefits of infrared heat on our INFRARED HEAT BENEFITS page.
