When Richway International first developed the Biomat in 1997, one of the next things it had to decide was how to market it. At the time, big-ticket items weren’t yet selling well on the internet. What is a Richway Distributor?

Richway International, historically, has not sold to the public but instead relied on its network of distributors to do the mass marketing, sales, and customer service for its products.


Over their first 18 years, Richway made it extremely easy to become an Authorized Distributor. Richway International is an MLM (multi-level marketing network). To become a distributor, you have to sign up under an already Authorized Distributor. They become your “upline” and are responsible for training you in exchange for a piece of your sales. What to Be Careful Of When Selecting A Distributor

Like everything in life, nothing is completely perfect. While Richway’s distributor program provides an opportunity for some people to help other people by selling Biomats, not every distributor is created equal.

Again, Richway is an MLM. This means distributors sign up under other distributors to learn. Not all those that sign up get the training they need and to the upline’s defense, most people don’t have the venue or the motivation to overcome the obstacles in their way of becoming successful at selling Amethyst Biomats. So just because someone signs up beneath you, doesn’t mean it's worth your time to train them if they aren’t going to sell anything. You want to make sure your distributor is purchasing the product for you from Richway.  When they do so, the product is shipped from Chicago and the UPS notice you get will say it's coming from Arkman Logistics, Richway's distribution warehouse.

If you are buying from a part-time distributor, they most likely won't have the time to answer the phone every time you call, answer all your questions or solve issues for you in a timely manner.

They should answer the phone and be more than willing to answer any questions you have.  They should handle issues for you that arise from your purchase.  They should be willing to be honest about not knowing something and when that happens, be willing to reach out to Richway to get you the right answer instead of making something up.
